Are the chips on the modules the same?

Crucial changes the ending portion of the part number when they change something with the modules. Sometimes it's a change to the PCB board. Often it is when they use different chips. Crucial occasionally uses non-Micron chips (Samsung usually) when Micron's inventory is low or very commonly when a new memory size/speed comes out and Micron hasn't jumped on the bandwagon long enough to be able to provide Crucial with the chips.
