Crucial M500 series Firmware update -MU05

I did my 240GB last night and did NOT notice this. Must be somthing with the thermal throttling on the 960GB. Just a guess.
 
Thanks for the heads up. I updated the firmware on my 480 GB and the benchmarks were about the same pre- and post- update. The 4k writes were a little slower but nothing like that drop off.
 
Updated mine, no significant benchmark changes noticed, however prior to the update, some obscure SMART attributes were showing caution, and now those are all normal. My drive only has about 50 hours total on it so far.
