Are you sure? That links talks about the C400, not the m4.

A Crucial forum moderator says at the bottom:

Firmware 020H, posted on the HP site, has not been qualified or tested for Crucial SSDs and should not be used. Flashing a non-Crucial firmware to a Crucial SSD may cause the drive to be unusable, and it will void the product warranty.

It fixes the UEFI and also enhances boot time, and performance. etc..

Well ....

The current firmware, 010g does NOT have a uefi bug, the only problem it has with UEFi is the tool used to flash it does not support uefi, so that people that have uefi enabled are not able to flash it without switching temporarily from uefi to bios.

The current firmware has serious issue, that has nothing to do with UEFI.

You, do not have UEFI in your motherboard, so even if it was an issue with uefi, you should not have it.

C400 is the M4
Not really. They are based on the same internals but there is no guarantee they are exactly the same. If I had bought an m4 with my own money I would not want to risk flashing it with C400 firmware.

I have lost the drive 7 times it doesn't show up in BIOS.. .cuz of this used p5k where you touch something it turns off and on and OC hangs... , and then I gotta just wait with comp on for 30 minutes..then turn it off and disconnect power and sata cable for 2 minutes.. then connect and turn on computer and M4 is back again. Also with this firmware I noticed performance improvement and its been stable soo far. thx gl

And you used to say this on every Nvidia driver update even though none of them were designed to improve the performance of your old video card. Talking out of your arse like usual.

are you using 0309, or 000F? Tweakboy, I have no idea what you do for a living, but it should be in marketing!

I just cannot resist.

What you have done here is create a thread about new firmware for the Micron C400, not the Crucial m4. Then another user has asked for links to PREVIOUS firmwares as there are potential issues with the LATEST firmware, 010G.

One of those links was to the PREVIOUS firmware 0309, which you have since overwritten with 010G.

So you have now re-downloaded 0309 and re-flashed your SSD backwards and then amended the thread title to "0309 firmware is out!!" not remembering it was actually released 11 months ago.

Words simply cannot begin to explain the level of complete stupidity which has just transpired.

Tweak boy you do realize the a crucial m4 is grossly overrated ? Right?

It's slower and cost more than many other SSDs.

A vertex3 max IOPS thoroughly trashes in speed for same price. As does vertex4, which uses marvel controller like the Crucial incase your not a Sandforce guy.

If you hate OCZ then a Samsung, mushkin with toggle NAND, or plextor all still better choices.

You need to do your homework more.
