I know what you mean. I think they have up'd the price for two reasons:

1) Seasonal demand
2) To allow them to charge a higher price for the 512s

I am going to wait until after Christmas when I hope the prices will be a little more reasonable.

Ram is hte one computer part that "roller-coaster"s its prices a lot ;). It will eventually come down again :)

I'm sure some of the rise is due to holiday season, and it could potentially be the fact that the i845-D is about to come out....

I just want to know when their 333 parts are gonna come out. Its not how much ram, its how fast....atleast for my needs ;-).

I just bought 2 Kingston non-ECC, non-buf 512 modules for my Shuttle AK31A. $106 a piece. Works fine.
