Ive done a power cycle 6 times with my cheapo P5K used mobo with busted firewire and eSata port.

Im one person, How many people has this happened to where the SSD doesn't get recognized. Haven't they had enough tech calls to warrant a new firmware over 010G

You ask why do I use 010G ? Because it ROCKS! soo much faster it made my drive I mean shaved 5 seconds off boot time ,,,,,,, and things loaded even quicker. So I like 010G , if it didn't have the UEFI

That is just not right. I actually want a new firmware for even more performance and stability. thx

oh brother....I would roll back the firmware if I were you. The SSD is fast enough as is! It's not worth the headache to gain 5 seconds of boot time. I'm not quite sold on how a firmware upgrade can make a fast SSD like the m4 that much faster.

I hear you dmoney,

The only time I have to do a power cycle is if I touch the BIOS and OC ,
But Im not going inside the BIOS with this 010G again. That is how I lost it in first place.

So 010G is good as long as you don't go to BIOS and OC and other stuff with UEFI .. thx

Runs great! I plug the firmware for everyone to get 010G , EXCEPT one big WARNING before getting it! You can not go to OC section in BIOS, or don't go into BIOS. As long as you leave your rig alone and don't fiddle with your already stable OC or stock.

If I change memory or maybe FSB and save BIOS it shuts off my computer "that is how this mobo is. Then it comes on again that is when I lose the drive.
