Crucial Discount does not work!!!

Ok! fellow Anadtech users!
We suppoused to have a 15 % discount with Crucial through Anandtech but we do not!!!
There is no price diffrience (at least for PC2100 DDR) when compared to the regular www.Crucial.com, so the link
is pointless in this case???

It may be misleading because many Anandtech users would think that they have a discount when actually they dont have it...

it does work.... the average joe who goes to crucial automatically gets 10% off... through the anandtech link, you get 15% off

memory- price -- discounted price
256MB $83.99 $71.39 that is 15%off

and by clicking through that link, I think Anandtech gets a portion of the sale, so if you enjoy coming to these forums, you should support them by buying through that link.

It's because you did it wrong. The regular web price for 256MB DDR PC2100 is $75, the Anandtech 15% off is $71.39. What you did is you probably went to Crucial's site AFTER you went to the 15% Anandtech discount - the page and 15% off is now cached in your browser, making everything 15% off and therefore making it look like Anandtech is "jiffing" you.
