Crucial Ballistix Question

I have read great reviews about the Crucial Ballistix DDR400 RAM on this website.

Anyone have any opinions on how good the DDR500 Ballistix RAM is??

Just curious if it's worth looking into, or if I should just get the DDR400 stuff.

THe ddr400 has a lower latency, 2, but the ddr500 has the higher speed and latency of 2.5.

Yah it's for an A64 system... and I understand the diff between the speed and the latency... but which one is a better performer?

The A64 cares more about low latency than high bandwidth, but ultimately the performance difference is next to negligable. You'll want to save money on ram (via value ram, say 2x512MB for under $130) and spend the saved cash on a faster CPU and/or video card.
