So I ordered this memory last night for $130 from Newegg and I woke up this morning to find out the price is now $110 with the $45 rebate. I canceled my order from last night and re-ordered it just now for this lower price.

I think this is a great deal considering the prices this memory usually goes for http://computers.pricegrabber....ry/crucial/m/10785052/

BTW, the rebates expires today August 2nd.

The $45 rebate form is now gone but I saved it to my computer and uploaded it here,

The rebate on Newegg has changed to $30.00. Can anyone post the $45.00 rebate?

Here's the link. but it doesn't seem to be working reliably. It worked once but the next time it did not bring up the document. May want to try it a few different if it doesn't work at first.

I don't know why they changed the rebate from $45 to $30. The $45 doesn't expire until tomorrow, as long as you order today you can get the $45 rebate so it beats me why they would change it already.

Good thing I saved the $45 rebate form on my home computer, if you still need it I can upload it so you can download it. Just leave a message if you still need it.

EDIT AGAIN:

SORRY for saying it was a dead deal.
I WAS looking at a real NewEgg rebate form for this product that was
valid through Saturday, but I see that the OP linked a different form
which has the September postmark date. I thought I'd just d/l it from
NewEgg's site and clicked the wrong link and got confused.

They sure like to play with the price of this RAM with tons of different rebates
with overlapping periods of the postmark date; there must have been like 10
recent ones in wildly varying amounts!

This is some good RAM. Mine runs at 440Mhz at 4-4-4-12 without a hitch. I'm sure it could go further, but it's not necessary since I have an 8x multiplier to work with.

rebate WITH the UPC from the received product in the
mail by SATURDAY in time for a POSTMARK even if you pay for
overnight shipping and saturday delivery, GOOD LUCK!

EDIT :: THAT BEING SAID, IT'S STILL NICE RAM EVEN WITH THE
SUBSEQUENT $30 REBATE WHICH YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM
GETTING, JUST NOT SAVING AS MUCH!

No, the postmark date is September 4th, look again.

"REBATE CLAIM MUST BE POSTMARKED BY 9/4/07" - Last time I checked "9" stands for September. :)

The Ballistix are the better choice when the two sets are the same price AR.

That RAM isn't all that great, it already has 5-5-5-12 timings at 2.1V. Can't imagine it OCing much more. Customer reviews tend to agree. The crucial ram is a lot better. Well, was, since the rebate expired.

I got an email saying they rejected my rebate ($45) because the packing slip date was after the qualifying period, BS!!!!

What I sent them was marked June 25 and the period was June 19 to July 5. Stupid ***holes.

did you make a copy of what you sent in? Make sure to make another copy and contest what they have told you.

Thanks for the buy.com link. I was going to order this from zipzoom, but they only had a $30.

I ordered a pair of these exactly one year ago and paid $200 after rebate.
