Hmm..They don't make laptops with CRTs?

Just found out that CRTs are bad for you eyes. Because it flickers. Your eyes will take it but your brain won't!

I'm upgrading

I bet 99% of the populace who says CRT monitors sucks compared to LCD is because they didn't bother to set the refresh rate above 60Hz.

Colors are better on a CRT, in my opinion. Mind you, the refresh rate might seem alright when you're using it (I had mine set at 80-85) but when you (I) switch(ed) to an LCD, there's a noticable difference and it's hard to go back.

Uhh I hav eone of the best 17" flat CRTs out there. Samsung's NF700. Ever see that glass, it's like a freakign bullet proof glass or osmething cuz it's so thick. Yes I get a maximum of 116 hz @ 1024x768, but the recommended is 100, but seriously, 85 is not even enough. That's why I never ran at 1280x1024 because the recommended was 87 hz..

Colors rock, but I'l ltell you I take my LCD over that CRT anyday. And if you buy crap LCDs like Dell's 2405 then yes... you will say LCDs suck.
