CRT to TV

I have an old 17 inch CRT that I'm not using anymore.

I was wondering if there was any way to convert it to a TV without needing a computer to hook it up to.

It only has an analog connector, no DVI.

Also, it does not have to be able to get cable channels. Broadcast is all I want out of it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I dont think so as you would need a TV Tuner card in order to convert the formats. But dont take my word for it. Someone else might know a way.

No -- not without a standalone VGA encoder, anyway. A few companies sell them, mostly to people who want to use game consoles on a VGA monitor directly. Try a search for "VGA Box" here or in GH and you'll turn up more info.
