CRT to LCD now I have problems

So I shutdown my computer, unplugged my old Dell M991 19? CRT and plugged in my new VX922 LCD. What happens now is whenever I?m using a window like internet explorer and typing on it the window will gray out as if I clicked on my desktop? That I can deal with, what really is TICKING ME OFF! Is when I play my beloved BF2 or CSS or any video game it will randomly MINIMIZE TO DESKTOP.

I installed the video driver that came with this monitor and I reinstalled my NVIDIA driver just to rule that out. It still minimizes to desktop. Why is it doing this? I checked for spy ware and malware and found some with ad aware, deleted it and it is still doing it.

Anyone else had this minimize to desktop problem changing monitors from CRT to LCD?

What else can I do?

What monitor did you buy that you needed to install the drivers?

Anyways, first i would remove the drivers... sounds like when you're fullscreen in a game, it could be taken focus, so the game becomes minimized.

I didn't need to istall the drivers but once this problem started happening I did. The ones from the disk. When that didn't help I reinstalled my nvidia driver, used drivercleaner and all that jazz, and still had the problem.

So I unstalled the crappy little driver from viewsonic and reinstalled my nvidia driver again, no dice it still minimizes to desktop while playing games. I play in full screen mode.
