Ive normally played my games and used my desktop at 1280x960 with 85hz refresh but ive recently switched over to 1600x1200 with 70hz , is the lower refresh gonna have any realm impact?

Possibly more tearing if your vid card can keep the framerate high(over 70 fps) at that resolution.

Most of the uninformed public is running their screen at 60hz, so I'm sure you'll be just fine. Even people who get headaches looking at a 60Hz screen can usually handle 70Hz for a really long time.

Wouldn't that only happen if he was running with VSync off, which is totally stupid unless you're running a video benchmark?

It won't improve base framerate only top end and since those frames don't get displayed on the monitor then what does it matter?

If you're running 60hz refresh then it may bother sum but 70fps+ would seem high enough to not be noticeable
