crt monitors tough?

I just took delivery of my new crt monitor. When the UPS guy delivered it he really rammed the box into the doorframe of my house by accident. Are these things pretty tough or might it have been damaged?

It was a NEC monitor bought from Dell with the standard 4 styrofoam braces. It seemed pretty firmly packed.
