alright i am new to this website and i am not even sure if this is the right place to post this question but i am going to post it anyway

i have CRT monitor Proview i had an AC problem in my house that damaged my power supply , hard disk and modem PLUS the monitor i got that three replaced and my computer now is running OK using another monitor i wish to get the damaged monitor working so i can set multiple monitors connected to my GPU instead of one , so pretty much i need help from repair person to tell me how to check the parts inside the monitor and fix them

Forget about doing this yourself. A CRT monitor is easily capable of killing you if you make a mistake, and if you

"need help from repair person to tell me how to check the parts inside the monitor and fix them"

you should keep away. Get a qualified tech to repair it, or buy a new monitor.

Check to see if there is a fuse where the power cord connects with the device. If there is one and it is burned then you should replace it with an identical one. In any other case take the monitor to a technician.

yup, do not open that thing.
nothings easily replacable on it anyways. repair would probably go over cost of replacement as crts are basiacally worthless these days. cheap lcds are well..cheap😛

and if it discharges into you, you can die, it has happened and its no joke

replacing the parts can and prob will be expensive, and honestly you are better off just getting a new monitor LCD or another CRT

you can get many great LCDs in the 20inch range for less then 300$ they run 1600x1200 or 1680x1050 if they are widescreen

if you really want another CRT i recommend looking here

yea cheap lcd is about 100-150 if you wait for a sale on 19", sometimes even wide screens.
or check hotdeals forums.
higher end models are 300 ish yes
cheap lcds are pretty good these days, gone are teh days of really horrid junk lcd with very poor viewing angles and such.

Just open it up and look. It's not as dangerous as people say. Don't touch anything if you don't know what it is though. Check for burns on the mainboard and fuses.
