CRT at 1400 X 1050?

I have a laptop with a native screen resolution of 1400 x 1050. I'd like to have the same resolution on my NEC FE950+ monitor - it will do that resolution but the desktop rolls off the edges of the viewing area. Is there a way to force my monitor to correctly display that resolution?

That's my favorite resolution as well. Just adjust your monitor controls. If it looks weird, your monitor probably can't handle the res.
