"Crouching Video File, Hidden Player/Codec..."

Frustrating to DL a video file, and then not be able to view it because I don't have the appropriate player/codec...

I have Win media player, Apple Quick Time 5.0, Divx, and Artz...

Now video files associated with Win media player...if file is of another type, then I need to associate it with the different player for it to run?

And what other video player/formats/codecs do I need to DL so that any video file will work...

may I ask what bizzare codec are you looking for. with Media Player, QT and RM, I only have mpeg1/2, divx 3.11 divx 5.0 and Intel Indeo, installed and I never had a blank video.
