To fully appreciate The Source, you have to at least watch Highlander 1-3 (2 is historically awful as far as all films go--not only is it a bad movie, it proudly shits on the entire mythology of the Highlander; so much so that Highlander 3 shows up, pretending all that never happened), and a decent amount of the Highlander TV series...which is actually pretty damn good. At least I remember it being good.

You have to understand how bad Highlander 2 was and how comparatively excellent the other material was, to appreciate how astonishingly awful The Source is.

Lol, ok. That sounds like a lot of work though. I'm not even sure I saw the original film all the way through. I have definitely seen parts of it, but it's overall pretty fuzzy in my mind.
