what's the difference between the original Asian dvd (region 3 I think) and the u.s. release? and should I buy the u.s. release from best buy for about $16 or from getvcd.com for $16 + s/h (I'm assuming the one from getvcd is the original Asian release...correct me if I'm wrong).
 
Most likely, though not 100%, the Asian version is pirated version. But not much difference maybe a little in the extra content.
 
nothing at all, except the region 1 release also has a english dub 5.1 track (it also has the mandarin track w/ subtitles) and they took out that music video. Other than that, it is identical.
can't wait to pick up this title on tuesday!
 
anyways, I watched it today for the first time on DVD. It was a great movie but now "one of the greatest movies of all time" like it says on the cover.
 
actually, i just went to amazon

seems like it does have most of the goodies, including music videos... i'll stop by fry's and check it out tonite (they have it for 16.88 + tax 😀 -- thanks to hot deals i'll lose more $$ out of my pocket 🙁 )
