Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon in theaters: English sub-titled or dubbed?

If dubbed....I can see why so many people hated it...

I was wondering why all my american friends thought the movie was crap....so I rented the DVD from blockbuster and I cannot believe how crappy the dubbed version is!! Fortunately, both mandarine and english versions were available With all the money behind Sony, I would think they'd hire competent translators...not to mention matching voice actors They pretty much killed the movie with bad translation and funky voice dubs :|

My advice for those of you who have not seen this movie yet to watch it in mandarine with english sub-titles. This way, at least you get to experience the real voices even tho the translation still sucks

Watching that movie dubbed would turn it into something much more campy. I am glad it was subtitled in the theaters.
