Crossplatform games between PC and Consoles

Are there any [good] current gen games that accomodate online play between a PC and a PS3 or 360?

I've yet to enter the next gen of console gaming, but wouldn't mind finding something to play with my friends (whose sole PC gaming consists of WoW).

Final Fantasy 11 is cross plat. Ps2, Ps3, 360, PC. Not really current gen lol

They would never do shooters cross platform because K&B and controller. The console kiddies would cry.

Maybe somebody should make a crossplatform shooter where PC users are severely gimped. Break mouse control, somehow. ^_^ That'd be funny.

Most console ports to PC the mouse control is broken somewhat already although probably not enough.

I think that Shadowrun had this feature. You could play with players from both PC and 360 in the same server. It flopped after a month or two, though so I doubt that anyone plays it anymore.

Final Fantasy 11 is the only one I know.
And, as predicted, the computer controls sucked ass, and no one ever made an effort to fix them.

they did. it's called shadowrun. it flopped pretty hard, IIRC

Yup, and in it they gimped the PC controls.

I think the reason it flopped was that you had to pay for GFW if you wanted to play it online. PC gamers have been playing online for more than a decade and it has always been free, so that shit didn't fly.

Consoles could easily compete against PC if they had some kind of auto aim to help just a little. Halo 3 has a slight auto aim. If you aim at a target and the target jumps, the game will automatically track the target for a short distance.
