Does anyone have firsthand experience using CrossOver to run Windows Apps on their Mac?

In particular, I would like to run WordPerfect, but any experiences would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You may already be aware of this, but in case you are not, they do offer a free trial of CrossOver so you could try it out.

If you do give it a shot, please report back. I would be interested in how it works for you.

Yeah, I don't like installing any apps unless I have heard from someone who has already tried it.

How hard is it to go to the Crossover site and look under 'what runs'?

I know it says that it will run WordPerfect, but that does not give me the "firsthand experience" I am looking for.

"Users of Wordperfect" probably has a similar market share as "users of Vista". IOW, it'll probably be quicker to find out yourself. My limited experience with Wine(which Crossover contributes to) has been hit/miss, but older, simpler software tends to work better.

I am not only interested in experiences with WordPerfect, but any experience with CrossOver ("any experiences would be appreciated").

I am also in no hurry, so I am willing to wait for the right person(s) to see this thread and give their input.
