As the title suggests does anyone have a similiar setup? My build consists of a Corsair 500R with 2 SILVERSTONE AP121 120mm Case Fan's on the side panel.

I'm wondering about two issues, namely VRM temps and overall temps under load. I have heard conflicting reports on VRM temps and gpu temps. Some people are saying the top card ended up being worse than a stock model and others have mentioned a 25c drop in load temps.

I will eventually go with a watercooling setup with a Switch 810 but the build is going to cost almost 1300 dollars by my calculations. I want something for the time being that will drop my sound levels and temps, and believe this is my only option for 3 or so months.

Yeah I tried it for giggles. The results were terrible as expected.

Don't do it. The top card will get far too hot. Triple slot + exhaust hot air in case = recipe for disaster. Go water if you want better cooling, its really not expensive if you do it right.
