Crossfire Setup? Do I need a crossfire edition Video Card?

I am thinking about getting a crossfire board (Abit AT8)and already have a X800XT, Do I need to get one of those crossfire edition video card to run fire? or just a standand PCI-Video Card?

There were rumors or something like you could run the X850 crossfire cards with the X800's. But not sure if this is true. I thought you had to have the X800 Edition......I'm sure someone will post here shortly to verify
