Crossfire reduced perf

Hi all,
I have a rather interesting problem.
I reinstalled windows, added water cooling to my 980x and am running 3DMVantage BMs. I tried catalist 11.4 and 11.2, I have the cross-fire enabled in catalist, and have PnP OS enabled in BIOS. In 3dMVantage and 3DM11 i get the same scores as I was getting with 1 card and no CF enabled. When I run BOINC client, which uses GPUs separately I see load on all 4 GPUs as should be. All temps are normal 70C on CPU and 50-60C on GPUs under load. Running BOINC I see same power draw on UPS as I did before.

I am getting P27K in 3dMVantage and I do have CF enabled in Catalyst. I was getting P42K before adding water on CPU and reinstalling windows.

X3.7K in 3DM11, with CF enabled, and i was getting X5.2k before. was getting 3.2-3.7k with 1 card in 3dm111 before windows reinstall.

Any suggestions short of

start over

EDIT:
I am using the driver 8.840.3.0
and windows experience indes gives me a 5.5 for 3d graphics.

Clearly a software problem, since BOINC uses all 4 cores and 5.5 is way too low even if 3/4 cores were fried, which they are not...
Any suggestions?

Uninstall all video drivers
Reboot in safe mode
Run driversweeper
Reboot into Windows and install 11.4s again

Try using them one at a time

Try swapping the slots

Try changing the Crossfire bridge

All I got right now.
