crossfire question for XFX HD6950

before i buy second card for crossfire i wanted to make sure what i need to buy to run crossfire. will any 6000 series card run with it in crossfire?

You can Crossfire any combination of 6970/6950, however if it's a 1GB card and 2GB card you'll only have 1GB when they're crossfired. Also, if the cards have different clock speeds, they will match at the slower of the two in a default crossfire configuration.
