Crossfire problems in Windows XP x64

Hello all,

Wasn't sure to post this under OS or not.

I recently received a Dell 630i with windows Vista Home 64-bit, but I wanted to boost performance in games so I installed Windows XP 64-bit edition--which with just one card has seen a substantial framerate increase in games.

I am now having problems trying to get CCC to recognize my 2nd 4850 card, which wasn't a problem in Vista. I have tried drivers from 8.10 - 9.10 with clean installs each time (using driver cleaner in between in safe mode)

I'm quite frustrated that I can't get it to work, because I spent quite a lot on this computer. I'd like to know what I can do to get the second card to be recognized. I'm not even given the option of CrossfireX in CCC. The 2nd card is displayed as "Disabled."

My set up:

Dell 630i w/ Q9400 @ 2.66ghz

6gb 800mhz ram

2X HD4850

Windows XP Pro 64-bit

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.
