Crossfire in vista 64-bit

After purchasing a 22" monitor, the radeon x1950pro 512mb i have barely cuts it at normal settings in the 1680x1050 resolutions.

Luckily, last year when i upgraded i got a gigabyte DQ6 motherboard which has an extra pci-e x8 clot for crossfire support and also luckily, the x1950 pro cards do not need a master/slave config to run in crossfire - just two identical cards like Sli.

I was thinking that another $150 for an extra card will enable me to run games at this resolution with high settings (AA+AF). I have already found the exact same card i have online and it is reasonably cheap.

My question is: how is crossfire support under vista 64-bit? Is performance comparable to XP? I have vista ultimate currently and kinda like it.
