CrossFire Hookup

Yup, that's Carlos for your topic, 'cuz that's how I feel asking this question.

I just picked up 2 4850's at BestBuy (did the deal 25% off - $300, etc..), but I've always been an nVidia guy. I got an Intel DX38BT MB, which is CrossFire ready, but I don't see any documentation on configuring it.

My main DDD's are, do I have to use the CrossFire bridge connect (since it's CrossFire ready, I'm not sure if the chipset on the board replaces the "connect") and, if so do I use 1 or 2 since there are 2 "fingers" on the graphics card?

Use both Crossfire bridges. The chipset don't replace the bridges. They are required.

Thanks for the reply. Does it matter which way the text is? Like the pic shows the words facing the output. What if the words were facing the heatsink and fan?

I am using 2 with text going from bottom to top no problems. I don't believe it matters or ATI would have made them idiot proof (just like with memory modules)
