I'm trying to track down an issue I can't resolve with my Crossfire setup. The issue looks like interference from poor shielding or a bad signal cable and affects my analog display(s) both my CRT + analog LCD. It appears to be affected by mouse movements as well. (I have not tried my other DFP connected via DVI yet)

I thought perhaps it was the Dongle since I don't see it connected to any other ports of my video cards, just when connected to the Dongle...Crossfire enabled or not. Through some correspondance, I've been told that it is an issue with the ASUS crossfire motherboards..hence the posting in here.

If you are using Crossfire:

1. Are you experiencing display interference?
2.Are you using an analog connected Display (LCD or CRT)?
3.What motherboard (make/model/Bios version)
4.What cards(x800/x1800 ect)?
5.Using the Dongle?

Please post if you are using a Crossfire setup.

I have heard that there are problems with crossfire with analog if you use over some resolution or refresh rate. I think it had to do with something on the dongle restriction. You might have to research the spec of dongle outputs.

Yea, thanks. I have x1800 Crossfire which will support at least up to 2560x1600. X800 Crossfire was limited to a max 1600x1200@60Hz.

The issue I'm seeing happens with any combination of resolution/refresh rate. Performance is not affected.
