It's almost my girls birthday and I am wanting to upgrade her video cards. She currently has 2 ati 5750's.

My question is, what single card would crush her dual 5750s?

Anything above an AMD 7770 or Nvidia 650/750 non ti is going to be a big upgrade. What are the rest of the system specs are what is your budget?

No real budget, I might upgrade to a gtx880 when they come out *hopefully next month or october* and then toss her my gtx680. Aaaaaand shes on an amd setup so who cares about specs =P.

well he asked you a simple question so why not list the specs? "amd setup" means nothing.

5750CF = 5850 - CF scaling. So anything faster than a 5850 will be an upgrade. Not completely sure 7770 is faster but R7 260X and 265 are. Else R9 270/270X for more power.

The gtx880 is a high end card and will be bottlenecked by an older AMD cpu.

The gtx880 would be for my rig which is powered by an overclocked 4770k.

Honestly, I don't even remember her system specs. I am not a fan of amd anymore and at some point I will switch her over to the correct side.

I'd get her a R9 270 and call it a day. Used for $100 to your door or ~$150 new.

I also like the 880 idea and give her your 680.
