Is there a similar comparison for 5770 Crossfire using a 16x and 4x slot?

edit: yes, I foolishly ordered a board that has those slots and I'm hoping I didn't shoot myself in the foot TOO much...

I think it depends on which game you are running.
4x is not so good for some games and others its fine.
I would not buy another 5850 to run in a 4x slot.

If your gonna spend 600$ for crossfire ,just get a 5970 and use the 16x slot.

I never seen a review with a 5770 in a 4x slot.

I believe your P55 mobo is pci-e 2.0. As I understand it, x4 lanes at 2.0 spec is equivalent to x8 at 1.0 pci-e spec. I think the performance hit would be tiny and shouldn't deter you from doing crossfire, assuming you're using a high enough resolution to justify xfire in the first place.
