Cross-forest trust authentication without domain specification

I have two domains - DomainA and DomainB - that are in seperate forests with a two-way trust.

How would I make it so UserB in DomainB can authenticate to resources in DomainA by typing 'UserB' instead of 'DomainA\UserB'?

Logically that doesn't make sense. What if you have two users with the same username in the two domains? Do they share credentials?

There aren't any same usernames.. and there won't be..
