In my experience.....

3-4 page capacity is kinda weak....unless you only plan on shredding on a rare occasion.
The "with staples" is kinda BS....the staples they can eat are very soft. Most staples you probably use are made of steel-wire....


I wouldn't recomend less than a 7 page shredder with auto-start. The cross cut is nice however.

well i ordered one yesterday...and this is better than just an entry level shredder, but it's like at less than the price of a regualer shredder...so i am guessing it would work out for most people...

that's just what i am thinking...

I've got this shredder. It's good for the price, but there are some drawbacks. My main gripe is that the shredder only fits the basket it comes with. It doesn't have an extendable handle. Even more annoying, is that the shredder must have a resessed button pushed by the original basket for it to work.

So, to make it work with a decent size basket, some rigging will be needed.

This is a good deal if you just need a shredder for occasional home use. If you need a somewhat higher capacity unit, check out OD. Last time I was there, they had an auto-start 7 sheet cross-cut unit for $39.88. I think it was regularly $69.95. Not a super expensive unit, but I have been using it, and it works well.

I got mine yesterday. I haven't tried credit cards, but it definitely couldn't
handle more than three pages at once. It's also pretty loud if that matters.
But other than that, for $20 it's good enough to shred my important stuff.

I ordered a sharpie pen ($0.79) and they shipped that separatly in a big box... lol

Anyway, looks like it will work great for my needs
