A quick glance at surveillance video taken inside a local convenience store might lead someone to believe the 44th president of the United States committed a crime.Police said Mitchell Walters, 29, of Lexington, was wearing a mask of President Barack Obama when he robbed the Sheetz on Somerset Center Drive at about 3:24 a.m. on Wednesday.Police said Walters, who was already in the Forsyth County Jail on unrelated charges Wednesday morning, was arrested and charged with armed robbery in connection with the incident.Police said Walters was armed with a handgun when he went inside the store and demanded money, then left after he was given cash.He was last seen driving away in a compact gold or silver vehicle, police said.
