Someone at my school wears those every day. She has a huge house and a lot of money. Not so sure if she's on welfare, though ;)

I also saw some cheap knock-offs of those at Marc's (the store that buys everyone's throw-away items and sells them at a 90% discount, because the store got the items for free).

These shoes are extremely tacky and you just know the foot odor that eminates from them could probaly kill a real croc.

Crikey!

I know alot of people who wear them. Comfy and you can throw them in the wash.

I had three tenants on the housing portion of welfare in the building I own--HUD. Actually, one was only a HUD because their home got ruined by Katrina...

Anyway...

All three of them dressed better than I did. Had nicer cars too.

Long story short: Don't judge a book by its cover...especially when credit is so easily attainable...

Hehehe.. You know I was at Dick's the other day and they have little "jewels" you can put in the holes on top of the crocs. They also have letters.

Great...now we all look like idiots who would all rather talk about welfare than the shoes in the topic :(

My wife has the cheap, $3 version of them - slip on, no strap. They seem to be made out of rather durable styrofoam or something. They have the weight and feel of egg cartons.

She has this weird affinity for butt-ugly shoes.
