Hello out there.

Before I start scouring the net, I was wondering if anyone here would have any easy crock pot / slow cooker recipes they would like to share?

My co-worker had a recipe book for Crock pots which had all recipes with 5 ingredients or less. Unfortunately she brought it home before I could get my hands on it. These are the types of recipes I'm looking for although I'm not limited to 5 ingredients.

Nothing is better than getting home from work and smelling dinner ready to eat :) This is what I'm hoping to be experiencing more often as currently the only thing my wife cooks in there is roast beef. Thanks

Buy a pork shoulder. Rub it down with brown sugar, kosher salt, and red chili flakes. Throw it in the slow cooker and douse with Worcestershire sauce until there's about 1/8" in the bottom and let it cook on high for ~6 hours.

It should fall apart easily when done. Drain off the liquid and shred the pork. Add BBQ sauce to preference (I like mine pretty saucy, so I usually use about a bottle and a half of Montgomery Inn.

This makes pretty decent pulled pork sandwiches. Not as good as BBQing it yourself, but come on, it's a crock pot.

(Slow cooker)

ADOBE DIP

1 lb Velveeta Cheese
1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies
1 lb hamburger
1 package taco seasoning
1 package (5 oz) Mahatma Authentic Spanish rice

Brown hamburger and mix with taco seasoning as instructed on taco seasoning package. Make rice per package directions omitting ketchup. Cube the Velveeta cheese and mix in large microwaveable bowl with can of Rotel Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies ? do not drain can.
When hamburger mixture and rice are ready, mix into bowl with cheese & tomatoes, microwave until hot. Serve with Fritos or Tostitos chips.

Recipe can be varied by using different types of Rotel canned tomato products and taco seasonings. If the Mahatma Rice can?t be found you can use regular rice or another type of Spanish rice.

Get a 3 pound Eye of Round roast, a McCormick "Slow Cooker Helpers - Savory Pot Roast" flavor packet, some potatoes and carrots, and you're good.

I have several...
In addition to the obvious (hot sausage, stuffed peppers, or stuffed cabbage) in spaghetti sauce:

These are more creative recipes...

Pork Chop Stew
Baby Carrots
Cubed/Sliced Potatoes
Sliced Mushrooms
Tomato Soup
Milk
(Season with pepper & parsley)
If you prefer... omit the potatoes... and this goes great on top of mashed potatoes...

Vegetable Beef Stew
Beef Roast
V8
Beef Soup Base
Barley
Stewed Tomatoes
Sliced Carrots
Corn
Peas
Green Beans
sliced banana pepper (or leave whole to just add flavor)
minced onion & garlic

Broccoli & Cheese Soup
roux base (butter, flour)
creme
milk
shredded cheeses (cheddar, colby-jack)
shredded carrot
broccoli pieces
salt, pepper, & ground nutmeg
(optional >> sliced olives or mushrooms)

Meatloaf
Make loaf:
Hamburg
Breadcrumbs or crushed croutons
1 large / 2 medium eggs
Worcester Sauce
Pepper + Parsley

To cook: insert loaf into slow cooker
add some water (1/2 inch) & 1 tsp soup base
coat the loaf with A1 and spicy brown or yellow mustard.

Chop up some beef to make it like stew meat or use small steaks. Place in a crockpot along with 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1 package of dried onion soup mix. Add water as needed. Slow cook until tender.

Serve with potatoes or over cooked noodles like stroganoff.

Stir in sour cream if desired after removing the mix from the heat.

A very easy and tasty one. It's almost impossible to get this one wrong.

Buy a ~3 lb. packaged corned beef from Costco (or wherever).

Add 1/4-ed onions, rough chopped carrots, and wedge-cut potatoes to crock pot as desired, in that order.
Add contents of seasoning packet plus 1/2 cup water and tbsp of worchestershire. Potatoes should be on top and dry for 1st couple hours of cooking.
Add additional seasoning as desired.
Add corned beef, fat side up (very important).
Cook on low for 8 hours or until fork tender.
Serve with sauteed cabbage, horseradish on the side, and cold ale beer.
