hi guys,

was wondering if any of you could recommend me a solid customer relationship manager system, to be used by >10 people (small charity organization).

essentially needs a "people" database with info about people, and an "events" database where you can schedule what person is going to which event and carry out tasks such as get the number of people attending etc- simple query model.

low cost would be preferred.

integration with outlook is pretty much required.

so far looking at Sage's ACT! product, www.sage.co.uk. any others you could recommend?

cheers!

Microsoft offers a CRM product - http://www.microsoft.com/dynamics/crm/default.mspx. We use it at my company. We have over 150 users using it. It has full integration with Outlook. From within Outlook you can navigate the various folders/screens and synchronize data for access/updating offline. There is also a web component to allow access to the system with just a web browser. It is not cheap...I think we paid over $200 per client.

SugarCRM - http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/ looks interesting. I am not sure what type of Outlook integration is available.
