Taking care of my site a bit lately and I've done quite a few things. I've STILL kept it simple and I plan to keep it that way forever, but I want to know what people are thinking from an outside perspective at this point. I know there still isn't much content, but that's not an issue at the moment, I'm focusing on little things for now, and I'll start filling in stuff later when actually needed. I've been doing things like perfecting (IMO) the colour scheme and setting up the forum software (which is still in the alpha stage btw).

I would appreciate any comments on the overall aesthetics of the site, ease of use/navigation, that sort of thing. If you're going to just say "it sucks, there's nothing on it" then forget it, I don't need to hear that, I know there's nothing there yet. 😉

I know there's a lot that needs to be added as well as changed on the projects and services pages, but it's really not important just yet, so they can wait a bit. It took me a while to find a colour scheme and table layout that I liked and that I found suited the site.

Lemme know what you think. And please don't BS me saying I'm spamming my site or trying to get hits. Hits really are pointless, and actually would be bad, since it eats Justin's bandwidth and gives him nothing. This is an honest legit post. 😀

Also - YES the download section has a whopping two downloadable (and one linked to a site) files. Yes, they work! 😀 Amazing eh?

Anyway I really need sleep so I'll leave this to you for now. I'll check tomorrow probably during the evening. I expect at least a couple responses...

Not bad for notepad, eh? No frontpage or dreamweaver for me. Editplus all the way.. hehe. You'll notice it's all using the php extension, but my knowledge of php is terribly pitiful.. the only actual php i used was a few lines of php includes and one line of php for the date on the top right. Very handy to have. At this point it's not terribly important to have the whole site database-driven since it's still very small, but as it grows I will have a database-driven implementation (Ryan will take care of the databases for me).

If you don't like the logo, feel free to make me a new one (no, I won't pay you). However, I doubt you could make one that I'd like more than this. 🙂

Good night!

One other thing... I only use IE6 and Opera6. I noticed that in Opera6 it doesn't look how it's supposed to, but it still looks *OK*. I have the feeling it looks like garbage in any other browser. Good thing 90+% of people use IE.. guess I'm ok. 😛

Clean and uncluttered. Nothing below the fold (good).
"StormTech Software" could use a *little* punch to make it stand out a little or give it more distinction--not much tho 😉

I like the simplicity, but have to agree the just beveling a font doesn't constitute a logo. Maybe I'll whip up something tonight and it might inspire you to create something with at least a little flair.
