Critique the selections I made for building my HTPC

Purchases I already made are in bold, the rest is up in the air.

Case: Antec Fusion V2 w/ 430w PSU
Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-MA69GM-S2H m-ATX AM2 690G w/ HDMI
CPU: AMD Dual-Core Athlon 64 X2 4600+ Windsor 2.4GHz AM2 65W
Video Card: SAPPHIRE 100208L Radeon HD 2600XT 512MB GDDR3 w/HDCP
RAM: OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) PC2 6400 DDR2 Memory Kit
Hard Drive: Seagate 320GB for now (what are some good 250GB-320GB HTPC HDDs?)

That's what I have so far, I'm thinking about going Vista over MCE but that's up in the air as well. I also chose to go AMD over Intel but it's not something I'm completely set on, convince me to go Intel if you wish and I'll listen. I plan to do a lot of HD stuff on this thing and occasionally play a game or surf. It will be hooked up to a 30" CRT HDTV in my room that I plan to use it as a DVR for shows/movies I wish to hold on to. My budget is around the $600 dollar range, which I'll still be under by about $100 if I go with what I have in my list, so there is some wiggle room if you wish to offer something better in the areas I didn't buy anything for yet.

So what do you guys think? TIA

arent you missing a tv tuner card?
and would you really need 2600xt with the onboard (off the 690g) dvi/hdmi setup?

edit

I'll be going through my STB's FireWire port to record content, I don't really need it to watch regular TV on this, besides I don't think it would work perfectly with Comcast anyway. But yeah I would like to do some light gaming on it so that's why I'm going with the vid card, would you suggest going with a cheaper mobo since I won't be using the HDMI out on it though?

yea to save alittle $ (quite a few bux actually) since it's not being used
I think I remember reading about the 690g and it's almost the same as a x1300. not sure if thats too light for you (pc games)
