Very nice, although I am more of a DFI and ABIT fan, Asus makes great A64+ boards. And that 939 3500+ is going to scream. I'd suggest going all out and getting either the 6800U or the X800-XT.

I woulda ditch the thermaltake products and get a thermalRIGHT SLK948 heatsink and a OCZ 470W PSU instead of your two choices. The new OCZ PSU's come with a no hassle 3 year warranty and are suppose to be excellent.

Nice system anyway.:)

I imagine that you will pay alot for the SCSI DVD-ROM... Too many $$$ wasted, give them to a just cause (to me ;) )
(I want an Athlon64 too)

I agree on dumping the Thermaltake Heatsink, ThermalRIGHT are great.

I disagree on the PSU. Last time I heard, hardly anyone had problems with Thermaltake PSU's and my father and I certainly dont. No problems under load and overclocked.

although first off your wrong in the fact that Tt really makes excellent psu's (my 420 has the most stable rails, even with this chip at 2.5...google OCZ psu reviews...they are the new cat on the street and from what I read....they have some of the more hightech PSU's PLUS it's like a 5 year REPLACEMENT warranty with no hassle.

If you spent over 1500 I don't like it and if your under 1500 it's ok(depending on the price).

Why a scsi dvd?
