We've changed the design, and are thinking of adding a section for customers that would have tutorials and articles.

Also, we're thinking of calling up some local companies and see if they're interested in us making flash tutorials for them.

we made a small preview tutorial, but it's not done yet. It can be found in the members. Click on "login" and use the username "guest" and password "guest".

Do you think the flash tutorials or videos would have potential among small/medium tech businesses in the area?

Also, because AT is comprised of many people in the IT field, please vote on top if you see potential for something like these flash animations/tutorials. I'm trying to conduct a survey on whether it's something there may be a demand for.

any criticizing and/or praising feedback is appreciated 🙂

My problem with it, is it's too generic. It's pleasing to the eyes, but I've seen a million sites designed like this one before. Also, I like the concept of flash tutorials for teaching, but you should use audio as well as visual clues to get things done. I wasnt sure I was actually supposed to click on the start menu, even though it told me to due to the fact that there wasnt a hand cursor when I moused over any clickable links.

Other than that, I think it's a good start.

We just figured out how to add audio 🙂

We'll add that a little later to the tutorial. Right now it's just a small preview of it.

menu bar font is making me puke. makes it look like it was made in microsoft word.

why did you remove your frontpage tags...j/k

Tutorial - good job, I don't know about marketing potential since there are so many free tutorials out there, but if your tutorials were free i'd link them to friends all the time.

Design - too heavy on the images, try learning some CSS and you can create fancy pages with zero to a few images.

i don't mean selling the tutorials to people....the ones we make for the public will be available for free. I'm talking about actually making custom animations like that for small/medium businesses.

ugly. you get a zero and a punch in your goiter for the design.

the tutorial was okie for genuine but i dont know about selling it.

You could do your navbar entirely in javascript without need for images, to save load. For the most part it looks good, on tutorial.
