Nice job buddy. Couple things,
The Cornell logo, doesn't fit to the right. Left would be a better place IMHO.
The font for the Copyright notice, too small, I know you don't want it to stick out, but doesn't look nice IMHO.
And again IMHO, internal links should be on top of the external links.

Good job overal, actually, lets say great!

Very nice layout. I have no problems viewing the page using:

XP SP1
Opera 7.11
1024x768

I don't like the background rollover, and I think it's a bit messed up in Safari, cause I can't see anyone purposely doing what it's doing: http://greenrobot.net/Picture1.pdf

Also I don't think News and Events should be underlined since they're not links, just standard convention.

thx again.....
what do you mean by 'the logo doesn't fit'. do you mean that it doesn't fit physically, or that it the site would look better with the logo on the left? can you send a screenshot if it's a matter of physical fit? if not, i think i'm going to keep the logo on the right. so many people commented on it so i decided to try it on the left, but i don't like it at all.

i also decided to keep the copyright small, but again that's preference. i did decide to change the 'news' and 'events' format though :p thx for the input.

Well, you could center it at least so ppl at higher than 800x600 have balanced areas of white on each side instead. Or something.

Good job on the site. It kind of seems like the picture with the chinese guy is just floating there, i would move the picture to the left of it (whatever that picture is) down a half an inch or so, so the bottom of it lines up with the bottom of the chinese guy picture

yah, i've tried that, but i can't get the drop down menus to line up properly. the menus are positioned by absolute coordinates, so if i set the menus to look right on my setup (1280x1024), then they won't line up properly for individuals w/ other resolutions. what's more, the menus won't line up if you resize the browser window either.

The fonts don't scale in the menus - have a thought for those who need to zoom your page in order to read the text.

Other than that the bullets on the 2nd page don't display correctly (Safari) - I don't get either numbers or bullets.

Why are you inlining your style sheet? Won't that add to the page size of each page?

Nice site. I'm at 1024 x 768 and there is a big portion of the screen (to the right) that is totally white!!!
It's a good practice since the best resolution any designer should set for their site is 800 X 600

The problem isn't that the white space is there, the problem is in the fact that it's ALL on the right. Center that up and it would be better.

Firebird 0.7 - bullets instead of numbers. The site looks great though, if you hadn't mentioned it I wouldn't have known anything was wrong.
