I have this stuff in my cart at ZZF. Not buying tonight but I already have an 820D chip and i945 board on the way from EBAY (the Intel Retail Edge bundle)

This will be mostly for games, and will also be used as a PVR.

Save yourself some money and get yourself a Fortron AX500 from actbuy.com. I've built rigs with both PSUs and prefer the Fortron.

Why'd you waste the money on an intel combo?
It was $325.00 for the board, chip, full XP PRO, Photoshop elements 4.0/Premier elements 2.0 and Norton '05

do 820Ds really suck down so much power you need a 550?
I dont know, just trying to be safe, with the 7800 and the 820 I figured 550 would be good to have.
