i dont KNOW that i wont need the sli option later, so im just keeping that option open. Is the board ok though?

ya i know ive got a number of retail items in there, im ok with that. I usually do order OEM but i want some documentation on a few things i can read on the throne.

ya i know the psu is a little high, but i was under the impression that i may need dual 12v...and this one is 18a on both of them.

the case comes with a 420w psu that i intended on taking out. ive just read alot about how important it is to have a good psu.

yes, get the dfi and save on the raptor with the oem, you still get a 5 year warranty.

if you do get the dfi be sure to check dfi street for some good compatible ram. i'm not sure if yours is recommended or not.

i like the psu size, particularly if you're leaving the option of sli open. again, for a little more, you might want to look at the ocz powerstream 520. it's another $25 but worth considering. and if you do go with the dfi sli, they recommend a minimum of 480w. and dfi street has a few ocz reps hanging about who are quite happy to help with issues.

I'd wait like a week until the venice core cpu's come out. That will add like 300mhz to your overclock for pretty much the same price. Also raptor = big waste of $.

i didn't even look, just assumed it was a venice core. i'd get the venice too regardless of the early returns
