Quite a lot of real estate taken up by GPAs, activities, honors, and references, while not much shown for experience and skills. I can understand the need to fill it up if your experience isn't much, though.

I'll let the "resume experts" (I'm sure ATOT has them) give better insight though.

get rid of the objective

most pointless line in a resume

references are USUALLY not listed in a resume (either you put it on your app or the employer will ask); never put "references available upon request" because that's assumed

On campus jobs mostly assume you have no real useful skills so your character is more important. In that case, his activities/honors etc speak to his work ethic and sense of responsibility. I think its legit until he gets out into the real work force.

No expert but it looks simple and to the point since you are right out of college.

Experience is one thing I'm definitely lacking, which is why I'm trying to get an on campus job until I apply for a real internship in the summer. GPA is the only thing I really have going for me. The job I'm going to apply for is looking for someone with a basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and PHP. I know all those pretty well, and I'm hoping no other candidates do. :)

What do most of the jobs entail? Personally I wouldn't list HTML, and CSS before Java. and PHP. At first glance at your skills I though "He is a CS bachelor and he doesn't have any programming experiance.. Thats a keeper..." Then after looking closer I saw the PHP/Java listed.

You should consider tailoring your resume more towards the job you are applying for. But as a CS graduate I would definitely highlight programming languages I know.

Go hook up the IT manager with a hottie from one of your classes. Maybe score him a little weed as well. That will get you a job much quicker than a resume.

After a brief skim, seems like you are good at school and a techie. You also put your one job after your education, thus de-emphasizing it and making it appear as if you are trying to hide it. This is both good and bad.

Also, elaborate on your skills. You may think "I'm listing PHP, MYSQL, Java so it must show I can program and know about systems admin or whatever". Well, there's a chance that the HR person doing the initial filtering has no clue what those are and were told to look for the words "programming, systems admin" and so on. Even if the person knows what they are, they're wondering what you did with them and how much you know.
