take it out then??? do you have to use the resume generator?

Also try to fluff up ur work experience a bit.

For instance, you said you raised money for the fraternity... you can change that to:
Raised money by doing blah blah blah, which generated xxx $ for the fraternity

Most companies want to see your GPA.

from what i heard, if its below a 2.8 dont post it. if u dont post it companies will assume u have a 2.8. so if its higher than a 2.8 post it.

KeyserSoze

depends on the major as well

if u are a engineering or technical major (CS), a 3.0 is not bad...

3.0 for a social science major is like telling the employer that he/she is a party animal

Yes you must use the generator, you search for jobs through the school's site and then eletronically submit the resume, you can't change it manually.

My GPA is a 2.82. it is not very good, but far from awful, thats a B- average. What kind of grade-inflated school do you go to that that's terrible? My advisors at school say don't put it on unless its over 3.0.

Objective would be nice, I agree....but no field for it in the generator.

Thanks for the input thus far

I went to UC berkeley...

2.8 is like getting Bs and some Cs

IMO Cs is extremely easy to avoid, as long as you put just a bit of work...

B in any class is guaranteed... as long as u do the work

It looks pretty good. You may want to update your simpsons-quotes site a little so it looks like the your work on it is more recent. Besides, I want more quotes damnit! :p

When sending out your resume, make sure you send out a cover letter too. This is where you can be specific as to the type of work you are interested in doing (or learning in the case of an internship), the fact that you are eager to learn, etc.

Probably the best thing to do it put it away for a couple of days and then look at it again. You'll be able to me much more critical of your own work that way.

Good luck.

You forgot to add in hydro ceramic engineer to the list ;)

bet you're wondering what a hydro ceramic engineer does don't you?
it's a compicated term for a dish washer.
