Most of your components looks fine, except that you can get the Venice cored Athlon64 3200+ at quite a lower price point compared to the 3800+,

and most of the Venice cored 3200+ are good OCer, so that you can easily run it @ at least 2400MHz, which is the 3800+ default frequency.

If paying $359, get the San Diego 3700+ and the full 1MB of cache..

If overclocking, get a 3000+ for $150 and call it a day..

The extra money saved should go towards SLIGHTY better ram.. Value ram sucks.

also, if you get value ram, get either corsair or ocz. make sure you get rev. 2.00 a8v deluxe. also, get the 3700+ san diego, or possibly the 3800+ venice. that 3800+ NC sucks.

Jeez, next time could you please stick some periods into your post? It took me like 30 seconds until I could finally understand what you were saying...

Sphfaros: I don't know about RAM not being compliant with the ASUS board, but it should be fine.

Yes it is compatible. Well, I sure hope so because I've been using it on the A8V for a year now.

If the Kingston comes with a life time warrenty and it's 2.5 Cas, I wouldn't see a problem ordering though.
