Critique/Advice on new build

Hey guys?
I am looking to build a new rig this vacation as my current pc is on its decline. probably past that.
but anyway, these are the parts i am looking at.
Any advice on compatibility, improvements etc would greatly be appreciated.
I intend to do alot of gaming and media editing such as 3d rendering video editing etc
.
I do intend on overclocking a bit, but not much as it will be the 1st time i'm doing it. All i have to go with is what I've read and no real experience.
All other necessary parts i already own.

Looks great. PSU is overkill unless you plan on CrossFiring eventually, but I assume you're going to be using the Xigmatek coupons Newegg is currently offering?

Xigmatec coupons? don't know about that.....? care to elaborate lol?
But i choose the power supply because of the possibility of me overclocking and also i plan on having about 6 fans mounted in my case.
will a 400w still be enough for all of that? and still make this overkill?
thanks again for your input

You case does not have any useful fans, you will need to buy at least 3 more mainly bcoz you are planning to OC.

May I recommend Antec 300 Illusion, has 4 fans... its $20 more but if you buy 3 decent fans for your case it will be more expensive.
It does have those annoying LEDs though...

A good 400W is better than a crap 600W. The Xigmatek falls into the latter category. As for fans, two points of advice:
- They don't draw much power at all
- For the love of God, do not just throw fans at a problem which probably doesn't exist! You do not need 6 case fans. Three intelligently-placed ones will cool better and be quieter.
