Criticize my site

EDIT: Changed the color scheme, the colors aren't as random. They want to change the actual content of what the site says. I'm just waiting for the updates to be e-mailed to me so I can copy and paste. I still plan to add some images and other things to liven up the content and layout, but that is the basic layout I want to stick with. It's easy to navigate for our clients.

that blue block in the nav bar is hideous 😛 otherwise looks good to me

the contrast isn't too good either. try white text

actually n/m about the blue bar. doesn't look too bad to me now 😕

I'd add flash..but thats just me, other than that the design is nice just a bit bland. More corporate like but its an accounting company so that may be what you are going for.

 its not too bad, but add some 3d effects to the buttons or use diff colors or, add something else., the other colors are good when you click to get submenus.

remember, simplicity is key!

Yeah I haven't had time to add bg images to the nav tables to fix them up any. For now I'm just going for good navigation, readability, etc.

Too many colors. The off blue of the menu doesn't flow well and the green punctuation really sticks out. The certification things also looks out of place there. Over all the design is plain and uninteresting, add some more pictures.

THis is all my personal preference.

make your colors match. stick to your logo colors, get rid of the bright blue, no website should ever have that color!

dont use flash on business sites...

Well I read the 1st paragraph, and 1/2 the second before I had any clue what you did... Most of it was "marketing words" aka meaningless drivel. But that's just me. I went back and said "oh yeah, I see cpa in the domain name now" but it looked like just a bunch of letters before. It didn't stand out.

i personally would also remove
Note: This site is best viewed at 1024x768 resolution with 16-bit colors.
not only does it make you look primitive(16bit!? 😀) but it serves no real purpose. I would tone down the shade of blue so that it is more seamless with the grey. It sticks out too much.

I'd agree with that. The two paragraphs that you have there aren't bad, but they don't really tell what you do. I think if you were to add an "about us" type of link, that'd be perfect for that, and write up a new paragraph or so on the main page emphasizing what you DO more specifically.
