Ahhh good old media censorship. That will solve all the problems in life, right?

Hit piece? To right wingers using their own words is a "hit piece."

Except, Media Matters brought the receipts and showed the clear evidence that the Center is pushing the replacement theory of white supremacists.

Replacement theory white supremacist propaganda is banned from Twitter. As it is banned from this very message board.

Go on. Try starting a thread promoting replacement theory here.

The reason PRIVATE business bans Nazis is because once you allow Nazis, that's all you have left.

Why does the right-wing suddenly NOT respect private property rights???

Fail.

Always funny to see someone work themselves frothy over comparing apples to aardvarks.

The fear that right wing traitors have of kids learning about factual history, the fury of them not being allowed to foist their denial and revisionist history on kids. So unfair!

You poor, poor victimized snowflakes. Won't anyone think of the sad racist revisionists, their quest to insulate their kids from the realities of their political culture? Sad.

Did you know in the Republican version of the Critical Race Theory that the GOP is currently striving for includes "White Slavery". In it claims that White Slaves did exist in United States.

The above comes from the Wikipedia article that talks about the "Mann Act". In fact, the term White Slavery was not that well describing in the nature of what it really meant. It actually meant woman that were being forced into prostitution.

Following is also a piece from the Wikipedia article that talks about the Mann Act.
This excerpt from The War on the White Slave Trade was written by the United States District Attorney in Chicago:

One thing should be made very clear to the girl who comes up to the city, and that is that the ordinary ice cream parlor is very likely to be a spider's web for her entanglement. This is perhaps especially true of those ice cream saloons and fruit stores kept by foreigners. Scores of cases are on record where young girls have taken their first step towards "white slavery" in places of this character.[2]

"Ice cream parlors of the city and fruit stores combined, largely run by foreigners, are the places where scores of girls have taken their first step downward. Does her mother know the character of the place and the man she is with?"

However, most Republican supporters are incorrectly taking the term by it's literal phrase, thinking that there were white people who were whipped by other whites or even black plantation owners.

Hmm, I wonder if the OP should be disclosing his involvement with things like this? Nah, he's such a fucking idiot he's spew their shit for free.
Color me shocked the hit job campaign is just backed by a few racist right wingers along with the OP.

Top right wing trigger phrases in no particular order. Terms used to rile up their base claiming these are the biggest threats to the country. But are they really?

I mean don't you dare call these people who are obsessed about countering any point, project or initiative that paints nonwhites as disadvantaged because of historical bias racist!

They are purely arguing because white middle aged men are the victims now!

The Ice Cream parlor, the den of inequity. Starbucks or McDonalds would horrify those people.

let's start a conversation by outlawing the conversation:

moral panic in 1 chart:

Of course, it's all a myth that the right-wing is racist, and for sure they are 100% for free speech. It's just a coincidence that they want to outlaw any speech that would teach history from any racial viewpoint that they disagree with.

Edit: the article behind that tweet was well worth the read, ty.

If there weren't such a past to draw on, it would be illuminating that the OP considers the theory that racism is a social construct and not due solely to individual racists is equivalent to the theory that a left wing cabal of satanic pedophiles is running a deep state that is taking over western governments.

Nice discussion led by Mehdi Hasan. Even actually provides an accurate summary of CRT.

I'm certainly surprised to find the Nebraska governor that couldn't figure out how all the people he surrounded himself with kept getting outed as white supremacists has trouble explaining CRT. Loved the comments mocking how he sounds like a 3rd grader giving a history presentation or book report.

I'm a little surprised we haven't had a couple of people that have shown they struggle with knowing the most basic of facts start lamenting how tree-huggers demonized CRTs but they're far superior to LCD!
